Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) Job Summary: Echelon Solutions seeks a Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) Security Engineer with experience in eMASS to provide validation services and sustainment support for systems/networks RMF security authorization packages. Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Key responsibilities include: •Assess and document risk, perform security control assessments, and document compliant and failed security controls in eMASS. •Recommend corrections to eMASS record. •Assist with eMASS data entry requirements and population. •Complete a Security Assessment Report in conjunction with the SCA, based on assessment results. •Prepare the SAR Executive Summary, with all assessment results, for SCAL review. •Perform a Risk Assessment of systems or network's security controls, known threats and vulnerabilities. •Support updates to the POA&M based on the assessment results. •Ensure traceability of vulnerabilities from raw assessment results to the POA & M. •Support the continuous monitoring program.
Senior Cybersecurity Engineer Role Summary The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer provides technical leadership for cybersecurity engineering on DoD weapon systems, platform IT, and mission-critical information systems. The role integrates cybersecurity and systems engineering disciplines to ensure systems are resilient, trusted, and compliant across the full DoD system lifecycle. Key Responsibilities • Lead cybersecurity engineering in accordance with DoDI 8500.01, DoDI 8510.01 (RMF), and NIST SP 800-53. • Design and assess secure architectures for classified and unclassified DoD systems. • Perform Asymmetric Threat and Vulnerability Management (ATVM) and adversary-focused risk assessments. • Lead Software Assurance (SwA) and Hardware Assurance (HwA) activities. • Develop and implement Anti-Tamper (AT) and Critical Program Information (CPI) protection strategies. • Support Authorization to Operate (ATO) activities and POA&M management. • Assess Supply Chain Security (SCS) risks. • Conduct Criticality Analysis (CA) and Countermeasures Assessments (CMA). Required Skills & Experience • Deep knowledge of RMF and DoD cybersecurity policy. • Strong systems engineering background across the lifecycle. • Experience securing weapon systems, C4ISR, or embedded systems. • Programming/scripting experience (e.g., Python, C/C++). Certifications & Clearance • ISSEP (preferred) • INCOSE SEP • CISSP or CASP+ • Active or ability to obtain DoD security clearance
